Statement of Faith

1. The Bible is the inspired Word of God having all authority in creation and is not to be added to or removed from. (II Tim3:15-16, Rev 22: 18-19)
2. The triune God (Father, Son & Holy Spirit) is one (Matt 28:19, 1 John 5:7-8) 
3.  The triune God is the Creator, Preserver, Saviour, Judge and King of the universe.
4. Satan was created by God, was a perfect being, rebelled against God, fell from his place in heaven along with a host of fallen angels, is an adversary of God, deceiver of mankind, has been judged by the death of Christ on the cross, and awaits his ultimate doom at the return of Christ (II Cor 11:14, Col 2:11-15, Rev 12:9, 20:10)
5. The first man Adam sinned and fell short of the glory of God and so all have sinned and need a Saviour (Romans 7:12, I Cor 15:22).
   
6. The Lord Jesus who being very God, became man, begotten of the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross to save us from our sins, rose from the dead, ascended to the right hand of the Father where he lives today and shall return to earth to reign forever. 
   
7. Salvation from sin and death comes from faith in the atoning work of Christ (Eph 2:8-9) 
   
8. The Lord Jesus Christ is the Baptiser in the Holy Spirit, and that this Baptism followed with initial sign of speaking in other tongues is promised to every believer. (Acts 2:4, 10:46, 19:6)
9. Sanctification is an act of separation from that which is evil and a dedication unto God. It is obtained by grace received by faith in the cleansing blood of Christ (II Tim 2:21, Titus 2:11-14)
10. God has appointed the resurrection of the saved unto eternal life in heaven and unsaved unto eternal punishment in hell (Dan 12:1-2, Rev 20:11-15) 
11. The Lord Jesus Christ is the healer of the body and soul of mankind (Ps 103,Matt 8:16-17)
12. Water baptism by immersion being obedience to the command of Christ, is a public proclamation of the believer's faith in Christ (Matt 28:19, John 3:23) 
13. Communion of the Lord's table is open to all who know the Lord Jesus Christ as their saviour (I Cor 11:23-24) 
14. Matrimony is holy and monogamous (Matt 19:4-6, Heb 13:4) 
15. Parents should dedicate their children to the Lord, being committed to raising them in the fear of the Lord (Mark 10:13-16)
